Description |
Supervise and lead manufacturing associates in electromechanical assembly and shipping departments. Review production schedules and adjusts line capacity to meet customer demand; cooperating with other plant wide needs. Direct or perform plant operation and production equipment maintenance, as necessary. Builds product when necessary.
Write Manufacturing Instructions and provide associate training to ensure consistent, high quality product assembly. Audits assembly methods to ensure good techniques and enforce adherence to standards. Responsible for safety hazard prevention and performs accident investigations.
Knowledgeable and understand test procedures. Troubleshoots common issues with test equipment as needed. Implements a corrective action to eliminate to failure mode.
Drives improvement and measures performance in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost to meet set targets. Develop, qualify, and implement equipment and processes to support manufacturing strategies for new and existing products and subassemblies.
Provide manufacturing support to ensure consistent, high quality supply of subcontracted parts.
Participate in new product teams and design reviews and support effective transfer into production. Support lead engineers in release of products to production and troubleshooting any product manufacturing issues.

Requirements |
4 year technical degree with minimum of 5 years of electromechanical manufacturing experience
OR
2 year technical education with 9 years of electromechanical manufacturing experience.
Experience with electronic, electromechanical, and wiring assembly with Ability to build and troubleshoot products to component level and test equipment from drawings and sketches.
Ability to train personnel in various manufacturing or troubleshooting techniques.
