Design Engineer

Our client, a specialty machine manufacturing and production systems company is looking to add to their Engineering Department staff. Duties will include designing complex machines and material handling systems. This will require strong knowledge and a background in conveyor systems and/or high-speed packaging machines or very closely related. Experience with designing for complex CNC machining will also be needed. This position will require strong knowledge of 2-D and 3-D CAD programs.

This position requires 6+ years of complex machine building and design experience. Prefer a minimum of a two year technical degree in addition to experience, or equivalent combination of experience. Precision machining and the design of complex tooling strongly desired with 2D&3D CAD and CADCAM experience a plus.
